Rave - November 23 (vol. i)

Election season is (semi)over

I know, this happened awhile ago but roll with me. The midterms in Chicago were a real mess. Commercials, commercials, commercials with no real information.

“Candidate X dances with elves, burps rainbows, loves puppies, and will save the city!”

“Candidate X actually hates puppies, killed Santa, is a werewolf, and will ruin the city!”

Thankfully, it’s done. I didn’t even have go out and vote on the 2nd. I had to register a new address and therefore voted a week beforehand. Outside of the mayoral race in February, I don’t have to think about elections for now.

Plus, Rahm Emanuel is running. We can all expect some choice sound bites to lull us to sleep. Get your swear jar ready, Chicago!
